Fundraising & Donations

Community First Responders receive no government funding. All the services provided are financially reliant on funds generated by donations and the schemes fundraising.

If you are a UK tax payer and able to help us claim an extra 20% on your donation through the Gift Aid scheme, please send us a message to this effect by clicking on the link below.
We will need your full name, house name/number and postcode.

 How do we raise funds?

Fundraising is never an easy achievement and as a registered charity, we are always looking at new ways to raise funds.
The funds raised go towards providing defibrillators at a cost of around £1000 per unit for each member of the team, as well as a fully operational, stocked kit bag costing around £2000.
A recognisable uniform, personal protective equipment and leasing of the new vehicle are all supported through the funds raised.

We raise these funds by:
  • Receiving donations in the form of cheques from businesses and the public
  • Electronic donations using the donate button above
  • Collecting buckets at the Oundle festivals where we have a gazebo
  • Donations for providing CFR attendance at events

The Vehicle

The current vehicle in use is the Kia Niro EV, a 100% fully electric vehicle. This vehicle is paid for by  fundraising events organised and held by the CFR team.

Donors

To be able to have the benefit of the Kia First Responder vehicle we are reliant on donors and fundraising. It costs OCFR £6000 per year to lease this vehicle and we are solely reliant on donations to help keep this within the group.

Demonstrations & Talks
OCFR are available to provide demonstrations and talks to groups (minimum donation)

Donations

OCFR have been very lucky to have some incredibly generous sponsors and are hugely grateful for the donations we receivedd.
All donations, of any size, make a vital difference to the scheme.
